Friday, September 18th, 2009 | weddingsI had been looking forward to Jackie and Mike’s wedding for a while. Since before they were engaged, actually! LOL! Really. Mike is John’s cousin and he brought Jackie with him a couple years ago to John’s brother’s wedding–as soon as we met her and then saw Jackie and Mike together, we knew they’d be getting married! We were honored to be part of their day–they are truly a wonderful couple who share a magical kind of love for each other. John and I are SO happy they found each other.
Now, I wouldn’t normally blog this wedding because I was not the primary shooter–my associate photographer, Kim, did the majority of the work that day. However, because it is such a special wedding and because Kim, who will occasionally shoot weddings on her own, did such a kick butt job, I’m going to share some.
Plus…Jack made his second showing as a ring bearer, and I have to say, he was pretty darn adorable. I have a whole series of photos from that to show off!

And….Jack. Adorable, wonderful, funny Jack. This series makes me laugh. At the rehearsal Jack strutted up the aisle with smiles for everyone–he’s a total ham. And on the day of the wedding we had to wake him up from his nap in order to get down the aisle on time and the poor thing was hardly even awake! And he didn’t realize there would be so many people he didn’t know… Thank goodness he found his Gramps half way up the aisle to rescue him! LOL!!!
And one more. He totally has the look of a child whose mother has taken one too many photos for the day. tehehehe. Oh Jack…we’re only getting started!!!
