It had been a rainy week before Lindsey and Beau’s wedding at Auberge du Soleil. When I woke up the day of the wedding and saw the sun peeking through the clouds, I knew it was a sign of everything to follow for the wedding. Angela of Lulu Events had everything planned perfectly and Lindsey and Beau were so gorgeous and so in love! It was a joy to be a part of!

molly and alex – Rustic Winery Wedding at Murrieta’s Well

I had been looking forward to Molly and Alex’s wedding for a long time! Molly is a friend of mine on Facebook (and if you aren’t already, you should be–click the link at the top of the page!) and so I got to hear about her planning details in her posts. I just knew it was going to be fabulous and full of attention to details! Plus…Molly and Alex are super sweet people and I couldn’t wait to see them blissfully married! Their day was as wonderful as I had expected and I couldn’t have been more thrilled for them!!! Some of my favorites…

Molly is stunning. And her make-up, done by Sherrie Long, was so romantic!

The ceremony was sooooo sweet! Tears and laughs…

jaclyn and mike – Los Angeles Wedding Photography

I had been looking forward to Jackie and Mike’s wedding for a while. Since before they were engaged, actually! LOL! Really. Mike is John’s cousin and he brought Jackie with him a couple years ago to John’s brother’s wedding–as soon as we met her and then saw Jackie and Mike together, we knew they’d be getting married! We were honored to be part of their day–they are truly a wonderful couple who share a magical kind of love for each other. John and I are SO happy they found each other.

Now, I wouldn’t normally blog this wedding because I was not the primary shooter–my associate photographer, Kim, did the majority of the work that day. However, because it is such a special wedding and because Kim, who will occasionally shoot weddings on her own, did such a kick butt job, I’m going to share some.

Plus…Jack made his second showing as a ring bearer, and I have to say, he was pretty darn adorable. I have a whole series of photos from that to show off!

And….Jack. Adorable, wonderful, funny Jack. This series makes me laugh. At the rehearsal Jack strutted up the aisle with smiles for everyone–he’s a total ham. And on the day of the wedding we had to wake him up from his nap in order to get down the aisle on time and the poor thing was hardly even awake! And he didn’t realize there would be so many people he didn’t know… Thank goodness he found his Gramps half way up the aisle to rescue him! LOL!!!

And one more. He totally has the look of a child whose mother has taken one too many photos for the day. tehehehe. Oh Jack…we’re only getting started!!!

alexis and james – San Francisco Wedding

Alexis and James were married at the gorgeous Ralston Hall Mansion.

Their wedding was full of vibrant colors and couldn’t have reflected their cheerful, bright personalities any more! They were a joy to be around and I really, really enjoyed being with them on their wedding day. Alexis and James are so well suited and I am absolutely positive that they will have a lifetime of happiness together. Cheers to you both and thanks for letting us be part of your day!

Once again, I love a nice stairwell.

The joy on a couple’s face after the ceremony is my favorite part of the day.

The groom has a very special vintage car personally restored and left to him by his father–what a meaningful detail to be able to incorporate into their day!!!

I loved the room the cake was in.

And a romantic getaway!!!

So many great details to photograph!!! I could actually have made about 10 different collages!

The bride and groom did a candy buffet that was SO unbelievable! It deserved it’s own collage. And to Alexis and James, Jack thanks you very much for the gummy treats I brought home! lol!

denise and dan – flood mansion wedding

Denise and Dad got married on another absolutely gorgeous day in San Francisco. Ever since I moved up to Napa I have been shooting on gloriously blue skied days in SF. It’s starting to get weird–I think I may seriously be bringing the nice Napa sunshine with me! So..I guess if you want to guarantee yourself a beautiful day…you do the math! lol!

I really enjoyed getting to know Denise and Dan–he has a easy laugh and a great sense of humor that compliments her sweet and organized demeanor perfectly! They really seem to complete each other. And the wedding was gorgeous!!! It was held at the James Leary Flood Mansion which was perfect for the look they were going for. I loved it! Some of my favorites:

This next one is another of Meg’s images. I almost never get to take this one since I’m busy shooting the bride and groom’s facial expressions. It’s fun for me to see this side of the day, too. And…you can even see me in the greet jacket if you look closely! lol!

Reiko and Chris have a San Francisco Wedding

Reiko and Chris are such beautiful people. I mean really beautiful. They both have infectious smiles and glowing faces. But it goes so far beyond that–they each have a beauty about them that radiates from the inside–from a place deep inside their cores. I could not have possibly enjoyed getting to know them and shooting their wedding any more than I did. They are perfect together and life will allow them many, many blessings…of that I am confident.

Thank-you, Reiko and Chris, for letting my family and me into your hearts. And thank-you, Reiko, for all the sweet messages you have sent me in the past year with comments on the blog images and/or well-wishes for my little ones–they always brighten my day!

I’m going to post these images a little out of order because I am thrilled beyond belief about this image and so I want to share it first!!!! It makes me smile and is very “them”! Reiko had envisioned a typical foggy summer day in San Francisco but what she got was even more gorgeous–the bluest sky and just the right amount of wind!

Reiko and Chris had a very romantic wedding. They chose to get married across the bridge in the very same little chapel that Reiko’s parents were married in. What a meaningful ride across the bridge for her parents to share with her…

The chapel didn’t allow photographers inside but I was able to quietly steel this image from the window. I’m so glad I did…stunning and magical:

Reiko’s dad, who is also super sweet, wanted to make sure I didn’t take too many photos of Reiko’s fabulous shoes and that I got plenty of his baby girl…these are for him. I don’t think I’d ever seen a prouder father (except for my own dad, of course! lol!)

beena and sean have a san francisco wedding!

Beena and Sean celebrated their wedding at one of my favorite venues, the Fairmont San Francisco. Beena and Sean are a classy and lovely couple and the wedding was a total reflection of that. It was fun to shoot! It was an unusually beautiful summer day in San Francisco and the blue skies added just the right amount of ambiance! Some of my favorites…
